Introducing the TR Electronic Compact Absolute-Linear Measuring System

It’s our smallest linear encoder system, with non-contact magnetostriction!

The electronic head is separated from the measuring rod and the sensor itself is integrated into a pressure-resistant stainless steel casing, with a diameter of just 27 mm. This makes the perfect combination for that tight fit into hydraulic cylinders and other close quarters. This also allows for absolute position detection close to the process.

Measuring systems with an analog interface (-10..10V, 0..10V or 0..20mA, 4..20mA) communicate the measured values directly from the compact sensor head. Other interfaces, including Industrial Ethernet, PROFINET, Ethernet Powerlink, EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP, are output via a remote interface box.

The connection between the sensor head and the interface can stretch up to 2 m!

The connection can be disconnected at the interface electronics with a high-density M12 connector. The resolution and accuracy of measuring systems in the LMRB27 series are optimized for basic applications. They are available for measurement lengths up to 2 m.
